Incarnate

Incarnate - Actual rating 3.5 starsI wanted to rate this higher... I really really did.The things I liked about this I really really liked. Sam was just so *sigh* I adored him from the get go, and I loved the actual premise of the book. Dragons and sylphs and reincarnation.... I was intrigued.But... In all honesty there was very little of all that stuff I was excited about in this book. And that made me sad.Ana spent so little time discovering or trying to discover her origins that I forgot that's what the book was supposed to be about. Did I love that Sam is actually Dossam yes. Did I love the way they interacted ... Yes. But I wanted to know more .. More about Janan and more about the draw to the temple by the dragons and more about why her father did what he did. It all felt very anticlimactic when you actually got the big picture.Sam was absolutely swoon worthy and I loved his love for Ana but I don't know if that can carry this book for me.I do recommend it and I did actually enjoy it, I was just a bit disappointed that it didn't fulfill my expectations lol
