Other things you might want to know... - I read... too much sometimes probably, but I love it. - I love to use gifs. you've been warned. - I'm not afraid to share my opinion. Even if it's unpopular. We can't all like the same things, but I'll be respectful and I expect you to be as well. Thanks for checking me out! Can't wait to discuss all the books with you!!
In all honesty this book was maybe a 4.5 on a good day (goodreads we need 1/2 stars!!) (also I edited this from my original after I just read something that was truly 5stars in my head LOL)I loved all the characters in this book - From Alex and Ella to Frankie and Sadie and even the famous Edward Willing. In the beginning it was hard to figure out if she was crazy and truly having conversations with this dead artist, but it made more sense as the story went on... she admitted he couldn't tell her things she didn't really know and I actually kind of ended up liking her talks with Edward. Ella, Frankie and Sadie attend Willing School - a private school in Philadelphia which is like plenty of other high schools - they are on the lower end of the social scale, but things take a turn when Ella finds the book of her crush Alex and decides to return it directly to him.I really did enjoy the story - the ultimate story here is learning to accept yourself for who you are and it's something that we see Ella struggle with throughout. Surprisingly it's Alex who points it out to her. Was Alex swoony? Yes, in a way. Not over the top, fall in love with and need to reread and fantasize about, but he was definitely sweet and I really liked the way Jensen used him in the book. He's totally NOT what people think he is or what he could have been.
